Where it is impractical to
fit the rim lock the benefits of keySOLVE can be delivered by the installation
of the CR controller reader. This device holds all the intelligence and flexibility
of the keySOLVE system within a stand alone control unit which allows control
of a conventional electric door release or a magnetic lock.
Because
all elements of the keySOLVE range recognize the same unique keys a mix of rim
locks and CR controllers can be fitted on the same site and authorized key holders
can move through all doors effortlessly.
Versatile Power Options
The
keySOLVE CR Controller is capable of being powered by 12vAC or 12vDC. This makes
it suitable for upgrading existing intercom systems (often powered by AC) to allow
fob access for staff whilst maintaining remote controlled access via the intercom
for visitors.
Cost Effective Upgrades
The product is often used
to upgrade from electronic digital keypads (where a common code often compromises
security) to provide an electronic key fob solution to control the existing electric
locking mechanism.
Higher Level of Security
Because the keySOLVE
CR Controller has the option of having 2 key fob readers key holders can be forced
to “read out” as well as “read in” to a premises ensuring that only authorised
staff can enter and exit. This is a useful feature in care homes & nurseries where
residents or patients need to be supervised.
